Teaching

I have experience teaching modules on quantitative methodology, American politics, Latin American politics, race and ethnicity and public policy, at both the University of Bristol and the University of California San Diego. In April of 2022, I was nominated for the “Inspiring and Innovative Teaching Award” at the Bristol Teaching Awards – within less than three months after joining the University of Bristol. At the courses I taught at UCSD< 100% of my students recommended both me as an instructor and the course. I also cherish my mentoring duties, having advised many undergraduate and graduate students, most of whom were women or came from underrepresented backgrounds. Diversity and equity is, thus, an essential part of my classroom environment, as indicated by the list of modules I have chosen to teach. I strive to develop my student's critical thinking skills, as well as their ability to present their ideas in a respectful–yet cogent–manner. You can find, below, a list of modules I have taught in the past, as well as past students evaluations of my work, submitted anonymously.
